Kayla - Summer Dance Camp

Here are some pictures of Kayla at dance camp. She took a week of dance from Miss Kathy Leonard the same dance (tap) instructor I had! The first pictures of Kayla on the left, She has her hands on her hips and her legs crossed.... :) She absolutely LOVED dance. But she is definitely my girl because she said can I still play soccer too?

We are very blessed to have two girls that really love each other and play well together and Jennifer I know, it won't last forever...:)

July 2008 - BIG NEWS

Long time - no post. I am having technical trouble posting because it has been so long and the buttons are missing. I guess I didn't make it thru the update. But I trust my blogger friends will call and help me!

Kathryn has starting using the potty chair today - July 6, 2008!

Kayla finished dance camp in June and is taking her first swim lesson tomorrow!

We are having a great summer!

Girls - Might as Well!

I thought I might as well post the girls while I am sitting here!

Kayla is using her new Barbie steering wheel Santa brought and "driving" a car. Notice her passengers in the seat behind her!

Granddad and Granny came over on February 2 to make the girls a birthday breakfast and Granddad is helping Kathryn open her gift and she had to stop and smile for the camera!

It has been a long time since I have posted! Kathryn celebrated her 1st birthday on February 4 and Kayla celebrated her 4th birthday on February 2! We had a joint birthday party for the girls on February 3 with a Cowgirl/Cupacake theme. As you see above our friend Laura made Kayla a horseshoe cake and Kathryn cupcakes shaped in the shape of the number one with the pink and white as Kathryn's own Large cupcake!

The previous Wed night/Thursday morning the girls came down with the flu bug and by the day of the party they had passed it to Mom; however, I missed the party but my LaDonna made a good video that I watched that night -Thanks to all who helped Stephen with the party! The girls had a great time!

We have made it thru the flu bug. I am currently taking 2 graduate accounting classes and dealing with family illness. I promise I will post pictures of the girls soon! :)

Kayla being Creative or Resourceful?

Kayla put Kathryn's diaper box on top of her head and said, "I am a robot". I said, " the robot can't see where she is going. Do you want me to cut a whole for your head?" She immediately exclaimed, "yes, yes!!!".

Before you know it I cut a head hole and arm holes! Who needs toys? :)
